SHOWER THOUGHTS

WITH MICHELLE SIMAN
Toronto based creative brand strategist and consultant, Michelle is the host of Lemon Water, a podcast series covering all things relating to health, wellness, nutrition, entrepreneurship and beauty.

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU FELT INSPIRED?

I get inspired when I change up my surroundings and environment, as humans we go through seasons of evolving that can be triggered by both change and inspiration. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to travel more than usual this summer so each trip made left me feeling so energized and nourished. Those two feelings and emotions for me typically mean that I'm feeling inspired.

WHAT DO YOU VALUE THE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY?

My ability to be able to connect with so many different people on such a deep and emotional level.. like literal strangers I love it so much :)

WHAT'S ONE THING YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE OVERVALUE?

The idea that we can control every situation in our life, the only thing we can truly control is our reaction. But also the news ;;)

WHAT DOES THE WORD 'WELLBEING' MEAN TO YOU?

That I'm feeling at peace, happy and am actively taking care of my mental and physical health.

WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH WATER?

Water has always been associated as a healing element for me. Swimming in the cold ocean, taking a shower, and of course hydrating myself. I've become a lot more cautious and aware of the importance to having quality water as well.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR DAILY ROUTINE, WHAT WOULD THAT BE?

The moment I start scrolling for a little longer than I'd like to be....

WHAT WOULD YOUR STARTER PACK INCLUDE?

Oakley Sunglasses, Cymbiotika Supplements, Rainbo Tinctures, Loewe Candle, hard boiled eggs, steak, spring water and cool pants!!!

HAVE YOU HAD ANY INTERESTING SHOWER THOUGHTS LATELY?

Shower time is no thoughts time. I used to be dreamer in there, but I find it to be a meditative experience now and a moment to be present in stillness as much as I can.
