WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU FELT INSPIRED?
I find inspiration almost every day, when I log into social media and don't seeing enough beings like myself represented or able to express themselves freely. That inspires me to do more for a community that can feel so voiceless at times.
WHAT DO YOU VALUE THE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY?
In a world that’s built to silence our originality, I value my authenticity. But baby, I refuse and I will continue to stomp and strut so that a community
who has been silenced for so long can have an easier, cleaner and more colorful path to walk!
WHAT'S ONE THING YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE OVERVALUE?
I feel people overvalue the opinions of others. It’s ok to have thoughts and feelings but no ok to project negative thoughts or personal journeys and put it on to everyone else’s journey, feelings or thoughts. That’s what makes us so unique.
WHAT DOES THE WORD 'WELLBEING' MEAN TO YOU?
Wellbeing means so much to me. It not only means a healthy body but a healthy mind, a healthy soul, and a healthy sense of love. Wellbeing means being able to take time to heal if you need to heal, time to create an oasis of positivity for yourself, and a ritual of daily things that help you be a better you.
WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH WATER?
My relationship with water has always been a bumpy road or shall I say a rusty pipe haha. I grew up in the projects of NYC and the water wasn’t very clean. We even boiled water on a stove at times to try and get better results. Today I’m able to access clean water and tools, where I can not only take a shower but be still, underneath clean water, have a moment of peace, and tranquillity. Water means everything to me.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR DAILY ROUTINE, WHAT WOULD THAT BE?
If I could change anything about my routine, it would be to stop, pause and take a moment to myself. Give myself time to sort out everything going on around me and move forward with calmness and ease. Remind myself that everything will be ok.
