WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU FELT INSPIRED?

I ran the New York Marathon earlier this month and seeing all the people coming out and cheering for their loved ones was unforgettable. The cheering at each borough carried me through every mile and I felt unstoppable. I was so inspired after running that I signed up for the Big Sur Marathon immediately afterwards. I’ve always dreamed of running Big Sur, and after running the NYC Marathon, I finally felt ready to take on the challenge myself.

WHAT DO YOU VALUE THE MOST ABOUT YOURSELF AND WHY?

I value my determination and resilience in facing challenges. Changing careers at 28 was intimidating, but my desire for growth and learning drove me to transition from being a dietitian to a physician assistant. I am proud of the courage it took to pursue this path.

WHAT'S ONE THING YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE OVERVALUE?

I think people overvalue perfection, whether it's in their careers, relationships, or even in their personal lives. It's so easy to focus on doing things right and miss out on learning and growing from mistakes. In my experience, progress comes from trying and failing along the way. Rather than aiming for perfection, I'm just trying to put in my best effort and be open to learning as I go.

WHAT DOES THE WORD 'WELLBEING' MEAN TO YOU?

To me, wellbeing is all about balance -- it's about giving to the people I love while also taking the time to nurture myself. I believe that when you take care of yourself spiritually, mentally, and socially, you’re able to be truly well as a whole person. For me, wellbeing isn’t just about being physically healthy, it’s about creating a sense of comfort and happiness in all my areas of life!

WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH WATER?

My relationship with water is all about balance. 60% of our bodies are made of water, and it is essential for keeping our bodies and minds in check. Water is a source of refreshment, energy, and calm. I love being near water and specifically chose my apartment because being able to see it every morning from my windows grounds and centers me for the day ahead. Water makes me restored in a way that it is about so much more than hydration.

IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR DAILY ROUTINE, WHAT WOULD THAT BE?

I would love to make more time for mindfulness and relaxation in my daily routine. Living in NYC, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but I know I need to make a habit of taking a few moments each day to pause and reflect. It’s something I often struggle to prioritize, but I know would have such a positive impact on my wellbeing.

WHAT WOULD YOUR STARTER PACK INCLUDE?

A cup of tea, comfortable trainers, a cozy fluffy jumper, and a good book!!!

I recently watched a documentary about penguins proposing with a pebble. In my last shower, I couldn't stop wondering if they get nervous about the proposal or if the pebble is just right!
